The artist is a resident of the Eastern Shore of
Virginia. Her botanical creations are an outgrowth
of her appreciation of the natural beauty found
along shoreline of the Chesapeake Bay and Atlantic
Ocean. She strives to capture the untainted beauty
of the Eastern Shore peninsula with artistic
creation.
Through word-of-mouth and a great web site,
Parker is kept busy. "I love using my web site as
my main marketing tool," she says. "An individual
will send me the dimensions of the shade they are
requesting, and I respond with an estimate of the
cost, and a time frame for completion. I am always
delighted after they receive the finished product,
and e-mail a note saying, ‘It’s
beautiful!’ Of course I am glad they are
happy, but I am secretly hoping that they have
caught a bit of the spirit of Wildflower
Express."
