I recently retired to the shore and purchased a
lovely old home and have fallen in love with the
natural beauty the shore has to offer. I paint
landscapes and have been very inspired with the
country views. From farm fields with tractors
plowing up the land, waterman hauling in the nets,
the smooth line of a deadrise on a sunset evening
or an old abandoned home with lovely bones still
standing, there is not a day gone by that I haven't
seen a painting waiting to be created. This is an
Artist's Paradise.
Before moving to the Eastern Shore, I lived on
Connecticut's shoreline where I studied with the
award-winning regional artist Frank Bruckman. I
belonged to a number of art groups and attended a
variety of artist retreats over the years. I am
currently a member of the Eastern Shore Art league
and the Arts Enter Stage Door Gallery in Cape
Charles.
