My inspiration
comes from the beauty I see in people and nature whether it
is a fresh new bud or a dried up flower. I try to depict
this life cycle in my paintings.
Over the
years my career has led me to work with all different types
of media. Subject matter has varied from portraits,
landscapes and flowers. Currently I am working in colored
pencils, watercolor, oil and pastel.
A native
of New Jersey, and now a resident of the Eastern Shore, I
consider myself as self-taught, after years of painting, I
attended art school graduating from DuCret School of the
Arts in New Jersey as student of the year. Art activities
have included teaching both privately and evening school in
NJ, serving as a past board member of the Garden State
Watercolor Society of New Jersey and as past president of
the Eastern Shore Art League of Virginia.
Having won
numerous awards over the years the latest are:
2002 Eastern
